Apple iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus to feature 12-megapixel with 4K video shooting

Apple has now confirmed that it is hosting an event on September 9,where it is widely expected to unveil the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus smartphones. Running up to the launch, a lot has already been revealed, but we now have surprising new information about the front-facing FaceTime camera.

The iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus will sport full 4K resolution video recording capabilities. Apple is slated to highlight this as one of the big features at the event, as 4K comes with a lot of benefits.

Additionally, the report reiterates that the two smartphones will sport an amped up 12-megapixel rear sensor. There is also a sensor upgrade for the FaceTime camera, and one big addition is that of a frontal flash.

While many speculate that Apple is adding an actual LED flash in the front, this report states that the company is taking cue from apps like Snapchat, and will just make the entire display go stark white when the user hits the shutter button for a selfie. This will help in enhancing the selfie even more, and ensure better photos in low light conditions.

Summing up previous rumors, the iPhone 6s is said to be powered by a new A9 chip paired with 2GB RAM. It is said to include the Force Touch tech famously seen on the Apple Watch. There is also a rumored rose pink variant, and there could also bean iPhone 6c in the making.
