How to Permanently Delete your Facebook Account?
Save all your necessary data - This is the first and foremost step that is essential so that after deleting your Facebook account, there is no feeling of regret for the same.
This can be done by opening the Account settings by clicking at the gear button of your account existing at the extreme right hand side of your screen.
Under the General Account Settings section, there is a link that states “Download a copy of your Facebook data”.
You have to download all the pictures individually one by one after opening each of them. This is essential before you delete your Facebook account permanently.
2. Clearance of Facebook history - This is a vital step to follow and for this, you need torevisit the gear icon on your Facebook page. Choose Privacy and Setting Tools and go to the link Use Activity Log. You can also go to Activity log page from the gear icon itself.
A page will get open and from here, you can delete all your previous actions like likes, comments, etc. to make sure that there be no data or little data left before your account gets deleted permanently. You can also view your hidden posts and delete them.
3. Open the Delete Account page – This one ensures that you will never be able to access your present Facebook account again. You need to search for this page over Facebook. As soon as the page appears, you will have to click at the “Delete my Account” button to trigger the irreversible procedure.
This will be initiated only after you enter your password and CAPTCHA to ensure that you are not a robot. After pressing the OKAY button, you will be able to delete your Facebook account permanently.
